Octagonal Limestone Pool Fountain on a Hillside Terrace

A reclaimed limestone pool fountain photographed where it was set, on a hillside terrace with the planting still to come. The octagonal pool is cut from eight canted limestone panels with a rolled coping and a plain skirt, low and wide in proportion, and the slender round pillar at its centre carries a simple moulded cap with two iron spout arms. The limestone is uniformly pale sand with no strong veining, which keeps the silhouette clean at a distance. Suited to a pool terrace, courtyard pool, hillside garden or new build landscape project.
