Pale Limestone Pool Fountain with Scrolled Iron Spouts

Photographed in three quarter view, this reclaimed limestone pool fountain shows how its octagonal pool is cut: eight canted faces, a rolled coping and a deep plinth course, each panel a separate block with open joints. The square pillar steps up through a ring collar to a wide molded cap, and three scrolled iron arms branch from the carved central boss. A long ochre stain runs from the spout down the shaft and across the pool floor, which is the clearest record of use on any piece here. Suited to a courtyard pool, pool house terrace or estate garden.
