Round Limestone Pool Fountain with Carved Strapwork Pillar

A round reclaimed limestone pool fountain with the richest carving on its pillar of any piece here. The tall tapering shaft is cut on its face with a long arched panel of interlaced strapwork, finishing in a faceted pyramid cap, with two curved iron spout arms set at the shoulder. The pool is built from fitted limestone voussoirs under a bold half round rim and sits on a stepped molded base. The stone has aged to a warm ochre and amber, blotched where water has run. Suited to a courtyard pool, pool house garden, reflecting pool or restoration project.
