Weathered Octagonal Limestone Pool Fountain with Twin Spouts

A reclaimed limestone pool fountain with a heavily weathered round shouldered pillar at its centre, rising through a plain collar to a thick overhanging cap. Two scrolled iron arms spring from carved bosses on the shaft and curve outward over the water. The octagonal pool is built from eight canted blocks with a rolled coping, and the stone carries unusually strong colour, grey green across the pillar and a wash of rust pink along the lower pool courses. At 79 in across it suits a courtyard pool, poolside terrace or estate garden.
