White Limestone Pillar Pool Fountain with Ball Finial

A pale, almost white limestone pool fountain seen in place at a house entrance. The square pillar is cut on each face with a tall ogee arched recess, carries a single iron spout at mid height and is capped by a molded cornice under a large stone ball. Around it an octagonal pool is built from plain canted panels under a flat coping, set low so the water sits close to the paving. The stone is crisp and bright, with faint ochre runs below the spout. Suited to an entry courtyard pool, poolside terrace, pool house court or estate garden.
