Twelve Sided Limestone Pool Fountain with Column Spouts
The largest pool in the collection. Twelve canted limestone panels, each a single block, are set under a flat chamfered coping to form a pool more than thirteen feet across. At the centre a plain cylindrical column rises to a faceted, cushion shaped head carrying four short iron spouts. There is no carving on the column itself, so the fountain reads entirely through mass and the scale of the stone. The limestone is pale grey, chalky and worn hollow in places. Built for a swimming pool court, large courtyard pool, estate garden or resort project.
